Welcome to Peppermint Grove.

Peppermint Grove is one of the State’s most beautiful suburbs, known for its large character homes set in tranquil tree-lined streets and lush, verdant parks located by the calm waters and serene shores of the Swan River.

The area embraces the river and foreshore parks for recreation, and is serviced by a major shopping complex and extensive range of retail and trade services.

The Shire has a population of about 1600, with a large proportion of residents who have long established links with the Shire going back over many generations.

The Library

The library is jointly funded by the Town of Cottesloe, Shire of Peppermint Grove and the Town of Mosman Park.

New Opening Hours

Our office opening hours have been extended to 8.30am to 5.00pm from Monday 7 September. Previously they were 9:00am to 4:00pm. Hopefully this will provide improved access to our residents.

Australia Day Awards

It is time to acknowledge and reward the individuals and local organisations that have made a noteworthy voluntary contribution during 2009 or given outstanding service to the local community over a number of years.

Categories

• Citizen of the Year (25 years and older)
• Young Citizen of the Year (under 25)
• Community Group or Event of the Year

The Awards will be presented on Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January 2010 as part of the Australia Day Celebration for the residents of Peppermint Grove, Mosman Park and Cottesloe at Manners Hill Park, Peppermint Grove.
