Upcoming Events

 Peppermint Grove Carols by Candlelight
Commences at 6.30pm

Families and friends will again gather at Manners Hill Park for this popular event.

Not only is the event a great way for the community to come together, but it’s all for a good cause. Proceeds will go to the Balga Early Learning Centre, which aims to provide safe, nurturing spaces for children in their community.

“The funds raised from the Carols by Candlelight allow us to purchase outdoor play equipment and amazing craft activities, and every child in the centre receives a gift from us,” says Jo Ineson, Director of the Balga Early Learning Centre. “I would like to thank the community for digging deep to support other families and spreading the joy of kindness.”

You can help support the Early Learning Centre by purchasing songbooks, Christmas items or by entering the raffle with fantastic prizes to be won from local businesses including Mainpeak, Just Music, Boatshed, Vans and many more.

You can also donate non-perishable food donations for the Salvations Army’s Christmas Appeal.

Please bring along a picnic to enjoy with your family and friends and if you want to keep it simple we will have a sausage sizzle running this year as well.
