Demolition
The following are requirements for submitting a Demolition Licence Application. Note that all demolition applications must initially be granted approval from Council prior to the Demolition Licence Application being processed.
Site Plans for Heritage Buildings and other Historical Structures
These are required in duplicate with at least one set of drawings on A3, and drawn to scale (not less than 1:200), providing details with respect to the following (unless the Council waives any requirement):
- Floor plan and elevations (scale 1:100).
- Photographic record of all elevations (including garden) for the building to be demolished.
- Heritage assessments by an accredited person chosen from the Shire’s list of accredited consultants.
Site Plans for Other Buildings
- Floor plan and elevations (scale 1:200).
- Photograph of the structure/s from the street.
- A demolition management plan.
Plumbers Notification of Completion and Compliance
Notification that the property sewer has been cut and sealed and a standpipe is on site.
Application fee
The prescribed fee is $55.00 per storey.
