Payment Options

The Shire of Peppermint Grove offers two payment options to pay your rates;

Payment in full by due date:
If full payment is received before the due date, you will be entitled to receive a discount.

OR

Payment by installments.
You may elect to pay in four installments.

An installment notice will be sent to you prior to the due date of each installment. A one off administration fee of $30 applies to this option.

Interest is charged on overdue payments.

Payment Methods
Rates and charges can be paid in person, by post, telephone or online over the internet. Payments may be made by cash, cheque, money order, debit, or credit card (EFTPOS).

Interim Rates
Council may be required to issue interim rates during the course of the financial year. The main reasons are: Subdivision of land – amalgamation of land – an error in the valuation – completion of a new building – additions to existing buildings – demolition of improvements.
