Residents are once again invited to join us for the annual Combined Council’s Australia Day Celebrations to be held at Manners Hill Park in Peppermint Grove.
This is the time of year to join your neighbours in celebrating all things Australian by witnessing a citizenship ceremony, participating in the affirmation ceremony and applauding those outstanding residents who receive an Australia Day Award.
The celebrations commence at 8am sharp on Saturday, 26 January 2019 and a free barbecue breakfast will commence at the end of the ceremony at approximately 9.30am.
Bring your family, a picnic rug and your own picnic set including a water bottle. Those residents who bring their own picnic set will go to the front of the breakfast queue.
