Library

The Grove Library is provided by the Shire of Peppermint Grove in partnership with the Town of Mosman Park and the Town of Cottesloe, and is located adjacent to the Shire Offices at 1 Leake Street.

Open since 2011, the Grove Library is a welcoming destination for children and adults with places to read, use computers, study, meet and socialize in comfortable surroundings.

The Grove Library has a large and constantly updated collection of books, magazines, talking books and other resources available for loan.

The Grove Library is part of the Western Suburbs Library Network, which means members of the Grove Library are automatically members of Subiaco, Nedlands and Claremont libraries, and have access to these libraries’ resources via the shared catalog.

Membership is free to residents of Western Australia. Please bring proof of address to join.

Peppermint Grove History

The Community History Library of the Grove Library collects and interprets the history of Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe and Mosman Park. The collection contains a wealth of information about the people, places, properties and events of Peppermint Grove.

Contributions from the Community – The Grove Community History Library is primarily a digital repository, and is therefore happy to make digital copies of any relevant images, documents or audio visual resources relating to the history of Peppermint Grove, Cottesloe or Mosman Park. Original materials can be retained by the owner, or passed on to an appropriate collecting institution.
