Access and Inclusion (Disability)

The Shire of Peppermint Grove is committed to ensuring that services, events, information, buildings and facilities within its control are accessible for people of all abilities in the community. This includes meeting the specific requirements of people with disability, seniors, children, parents and people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. The Shire recognises that all residents and visitors contribute to the social, economic and cultural life of the community.

The review DAIP public submission phase has now closed and all comments and ideas received are being considered as the Plan is being finalised.

The new DAIP 2017-2022 will be made available in DRAFT form for public comment by mid-2023, after which time it will be endorsed by Council and lodged with the Disability Services Commission and the Australian Human Rights Commission.
