The Shire of Peppermint Grove has received a development application for alterations and additions to an existing house at the above address.
Development approval was required as this proposal seeks to vary the deemed-to-comply requirement of the Residential Design Codes of Western Australia (R-Codes) for lot boundary setbacks and aggregate vehicular crossover widths, as well as the local planning policy framework provisions for secondary street setback, and garage door width.
Please note that the submitted plans may be amended, or compliance otherwise be demonstrated.
The plans are also available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office, 1 Leake Street, Peppermint Grove, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm.
Written submissions must be lodged within the advertising period to ensure they can be considered prior to determination of the application. Objections should articulate how you may be materially affected.
The Shire will acknowledge any written comments received and the decision-making process will have due regard to submissions. Written submissions will be kept on file and could be subject to a Freedom of Information request, or form part of a Respondent’s Bundle should the matter be subject to review at the State Administrative Tribunal.
