DA2025-00006 - Single House and Ancillary Works at 1 Bungalow Court (Closed)

The Shire of Peppermint Grove has received a planning application for a proposed Single House and Ancillary Works including boundary walls and fencing at the above address.
The proposal is seeking to vary the town planning scheme development requirement for plot ratio and street setbacks, the local planning policies no. 1 and 2 pertaining to landscaping within the front setback area and fencing height, and the deemed-to-comply requirement of the Residential Design Codes for lot boundary setback, visual privacy, siteworks, street surveillance and sightlines and relies on the corresponding design principles being demonstrated.
Please note that one or more of the above referenced variations to the planning policy framework may not impact your property and that the submitted plans may be amended, or compliance otherwise be demonstrated by the proponent prior to determination. Trivial changes to the plans may also occur subsequent to any approval without further notification.
Unless otherwise extended, the advertising period will close on 21 July 2025. Written submissions must be lodged within the advertising period to ensure they can be considered prior to determination of the application. Objections should articulate how you may be materially affected.
The Shire will acknowledge any written comments received and the decision-making process will have due regard to submissions. Written submissions will be kept on file and could be subject to a Freedom of Information request, or form part of a Respondent’s Bundle should the matter be subject to review at the State Administrative Tribunal.
The plans are also available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office, 1 Leake Street, Peppermint Grove, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.
