DA2025-00017 - Planning Application for a Single House and Ancillary Works

I wish to advise that the Shire of Peppermint Grove has received a planning application for proposed single house and ancillary works at 12 Bay View Terrace, Peppermint Grove.
The proposal is seeking to vary the town planning scheme development requirement for plot ratio and the number of storeys, the local planning policies pertaining to residential fencing and design and development (gatehouse dimensions), and the deemed-to-comply requirement of the Residential Design Codes for lot boundary setback, siteworks, and visual privacy and relies on the corresponding design principles being demonstrated.
Unless otherwise extended, the advertising period will close fourteen (14) days from the date of this letter. Written submissions must be lodged within the advertising period to ensure they can be considered prior to determination of the application. Objections should articulate how you may be materially affected.
The plans are available for inspection at the Shire Administration Office, 1 Leake Street, Peppermint Grove, Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, or can be viewed on the Shire website Have Your Say » Shire of Peppermint Grove <
The Shire will acknowledge any written comments received and the decision-making process will have due regard to submissions.
Please note that the submitted plans may be amended, or compliance otherwise be demonstrated by the proponent prior to determination. Trivial changes to the plans may also occur subsequent to approval without further notification.
