The Shire of Peppermint Grove has received a planning application for amendments to the main residence and ancillary accommodation associated with the ongoing construction at 146 Forrest Street. Construction will be required to comply with the approved construction environmental management plan and existing conditions of development approval.
The amendments are deemed-to-comply and do not seek Shire discretion but are subject to further planning approval due to the heritage classification of the place.
The revisions are limited to the ancillary accommodation which is being reduced in floor area and the main residence for which internal and external changes are proposed which are contained within the approved building footprint or relate to the deletion of a rear verandah.
Plans for the proposal are available to view at the Shire Administrative Office or on the Shire website Have Your Say » Shire of Peppermint Grove. Please note that that trivial changes to the plans may also occur subsequent to approval without further notification.
Unless otherwise extended, the advertising period will close on Friday 9 January 2026 (period extended to allow for holiday season). Written submissions must be lodged within the advertising period to ensure they can be considered prior to determination of the application
