The Shire recently installed solar powered LED speed signs in View and Leake Streets.
These devices measure, then clearly display each vehicle’s speed as it approaches the unit. Whilst the majority of drivers adhere to the limit in Peppermint Grove, regrettably some continue to speed through our quiet streets and these signs will hopefully discourage this irresponsible behaviour.
