The Shire has been advised by the Western Metropolitan Regional Council (WMRC), that it will no longer provide Community Recycling Stations at Local Government venues. The recycling stations at the Shire were used for batteries, globes and cartridges.  WMRC have outlined that a number of businesses now operate their own recycling stations for managing waste stream from the community.

Batteries can be dropped off at Woolworths in Cottesloe Central, whilst cartridges and toners can be taken to the Cottesloe Post Office.

Further information on community recycling locations are outlined at the WMRC website at:   wmrc.wa.go.au or contact them by telephone on (08) 9384 6711.
